Usage-based charges

Predictable subscription, variable fees only when money moves.

WrapDesk keeps the monthly subscription predictable, while usage-based fees scale with real job activity. Shops only pay more when real deposits and installer payouts are moving through the platform.

  • Deposit platform fee: 1.2% of customer deposits processed through WrapDesk
  • Installer assignment platform fee: 1.2% of the shop's fixed gross payment, disclosed before the offer is sent
  • The installer sees only the exact net payout after Stripe settlement and confirms it before the assignment becomes final
  • Paid assignments are delayed marketplace payouts released when the shop records completion; WrapDesk is not escrow
  • Pre-release cancellation refunds exclude actual non-refundable Stripe costs and retain no WrapDesk platform fee
  • PayTo / BECS payments are preferred for larger payments where available
  • SMS, call, and messaging usage is included within each plan's communication allowance, plus use your own number within fair use*
  • Usage above the included communication allowance or outside fair use may be billed at cost plus margin
  • Extra completed installer bookings may be billed separately or require a plan upgrade

FAQ

The common pricing questions.

What counts as a completed installer booking?

A completed installer booking is a job where an installer is requested, accepts the work, and the job is marked as completed in WrapDesk.

Do customer deposits have to be processed through WrapDesk?

WrapDesk is designed to work best when deposits are collected through the platform. This links the quote, booking, job timeline, and installer workflow together.

What are the usage-based fees?

WrapDesk charges 1.2% of customer deposits processed through the platform and 1.2% of the shop's gross fixed payment for a paid installer assignment. Stripe fees are separate. The shop sees its charge and estimated deductions; after settlement, the installer sees only the exact amount they will receive.

Does WrapDesk hold installer payments in escrow?

No. WrapDesk uses a delayed Stripe marketplace payout. The platform charge remains in the Stripe platform balance until the shop records the activity or job as complete, then the exact net payout is transferred to the installer's connected account. Refunds, disputes, non-refundable Stripe costs, GST and tax responsibilities are governed by the Terms of Service.

Are calls and messages included?*

Each plan includes a communication allowance for normal customer and installer communication, and shops can use their own number within fair use. Usage above the allowance, unusual usage patterns, or carrier/provider charges outside fair use may be billed separately.

Do installers pay a subscription?

Installers can use WrapDesk without a subscription. Installer payout fees apply when payouts are processed through the platform. Optional installer plans may be added later for high-volume installers who want more predictable fees.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Shops can upgrade as their installer booking volume grows.

Is WrapDesk only for PPF shops?

No. WrapDesk is built for PPF, vinyl wrap, tint, ceramic coating, detailing, and other vehicle protection businesses that coordinate jobs and labour.
